First released in 1972, Freddie King's Texas Cannonball follows the thread of his previous album, Getting Ready, but adding more of a rock feel. Widely considered a masterpiece in it's genre, it contains amazing instrumental solos, as well as some of King's best vocals since his legendary recordings from the 1950s and early 1960s.
